Nonpartisan Policy
The 314TV Civic Record does not endorse candidates, political parties, ballot positions, organizations, businesses, or political viewpoints. Factual records are separated from commentary, opinion, interviews, and programming. Where opinions or disputed claims appear in programming, they are clearly identified as statements, opinions, or attributed claims rather than established facts.
Privacy & Data Minimization
The Civic Record uses data minimization. Only information necessary for legitimate civic information purposes is collected and displayed. The Civic Record does not create a resident surveillance system. Public civic-person records are limited to elected officials, municipal officials, organizational leaders, and public-facing civic representatives. Private home addresses, private phone numbers, private email addresses, family information, and other sensitive personal information are never published.
Corrections & Updates
The 314TV Civic Record preserves record history. Important information is not silently overwritten. Where technically possible, the original publication date, update date, updated field, previous value, new value, and reason for update are preserved. Users may submit corrections through the Report an Error form on any record page. Corrections are reviewed before any changes are applied.

Verification Labels
Every record in the 314TV Civic Record carries one of the following verification labels. These labels describe the source and verification status of the information — they do not imply endorsement.
Information originating from the responsible government agency, municipality, organization, or official source.
Information independently confirmed by 314TV using a documented source.
Information supplied by an identifiable source but not independently verified by 314TV.
Information submitted by the public and awaiting verification.
A record containing a documented correction or material update.
"Verified" means independently confirmed using a documented source. It does not mean endorsed by 314TV.
